Weekend Wows!
The forecast is foretelling Sun!-with clouds only returning, in part, late Sunday. So, Alicia and I suggest taking a slightly less than bundled up walk around your favorite places. Be sure to include a last chance glance at the City and County buildings light display- as it is the last weekend for the National Western Stock Show and that means those lights will be dimmed all the way down until the next holiday season.
After that invigorating stroll- why not take in a cheap movie. No- not as in quality, as in price. The Elvis Cinema’s are offering some fantastic second run films for only $3.00. If you buy a gift certificate for $15.00 it includes two admissions, two medium sodas, and two medium popcorns; an amazing deal!
They have two locations in the greater Denver Metro area- one in Littleton and one in Arvada. We haven’t had the chance to get down to the one in Littleton, but the one in Arvada is fantastic. You should go for the movies for sure- but another great reason to step on in are the doors to each individual auditorium. Crossing through one is quite literally like stepping through to another world. They are encrusted with golden circular medallions that mesmerize and set the tone perfectly for the magic of a night at the movies. A night that anyone can justify, for the little extra you’ll still have in the bank.

the littleton one isn’t as grand as the arvada one.
