The Cherry Cricket - A Delicious Denver Landmark

by Shawn Marie on December 4th, 2007

Cherry Cricket

It’s the holiday season and in Denver chances are pretty good you will grace Cherry Creek for some shopping. Whether you are power shopping at the mall or strolling through the many boutiques and shops throughout the neighborhood you are going to need some sustenance to keep you going, and milk and cookies just aren’t going to get the job done.May we suggest The Cherry Cricket as a fine “re-fueling” station.

The Cherry Cricket (or simply The Cricket, as the Locals say) has been a Cherry Creek landmark in one form or another since 1945. The menu is a yummy cross section of burgers, soups, sandwiches and Mexican fare. The appetizers, or Horzidurvees as they are aptly named at The Cricket, offer a taste sensation for every palette; artichoke dip all the way to deep fried mac and cheese wedges! Take a break, have a snack, indulge in a beverage!

The Cherry Cricket is located at 2641 East Second Avenue, basically 2nd between Columbine and Clayton.
