Photo Op: The Cow Parade In Denver
The Cow Parade was in Denver the very first time I visited this awesome city. This particular cow was shot by Flickr user GISuser.
I saw a cow painted in Broncos colors, and another one in the park! After the cows were “rounded up”, they were all auctioned off for charity. I’m pretty lucky, because I also saw the Cow Parade when it came through Las Vegas, where I’m from.

Getting Around Town: Take the Light Rail
Unfortunately, Denver has been rated third in the nation for Worst Traffic. However, most of this traffic happens during the morning and evening rush hours. Also, there is a rise in traffic because so many people are moving to our great city that we haven’t had time to expand our highways and byways.

Avalanche!!
Not only does Denver boast a professional football team, but we also have a professional hockey team!
The Colorado Avalanche- or the Avs, as the locals call them – arrived in Denver in 1995, relocating from Quebec City.
