Fresh City Life, Denver Public Library’s outstanding event and activity offering to enhance and enlighten our minds has a spring art exhibit up at the Denver Art Museum.
The exhibit is in the Morrison Concourse of the Denver Art Museum and it features the work of Ed Adler. The exhibit shares the name with Fresh City Life’s Thinkology: “Wilde, Horses and Cowboys.”

The Denver Public Library and Fresh City Life, have launched a new Thinkology Series entitled, Wild Wilde West. This series of events invites you to think about those moments when you work to keep your private persona sacred, while our culture makes ever greater demands on our privacy.

The Friends of the Denver Public Library want you to come out and enjoy a night of delicious food and fabulous atmosphere at Baur’s Ristorante’s grand opening in the Theater District. Baur’s is an old name in Denver, remembered fondly by many Colorado natives, and it promises to be just as grand in their new location.

On October 19, 2008, the Denver Marathon kicks off! One of the largest marathons in Colorado, and visible on numerous lists of Marathons to Do for runners, the Denver Marathon is a premier marathon, a half marathon, and a four person relay race. It was a clean sweep of the People’s Choice and the Judges Grand Prize when both awards went to Stephanie Ohnmacht at the first annual Frock Out Denver!

Frock Out Denver will do something that seems impossible… Bring a slice of the Fashion World, ala Bryant Park, to the Denver Public Library. Over the past three months, twelve of Denver’s most talented Fashion Designers have been working on their collections to compete in Frock Out’s runway competition.
