The Christmas season is winding down and for those of you who have a real tree there are plenty of options for recycling your beloved holiday emblem. Denver County offers a free recycling program for Denver residents who are customers of Denver’s Solid Waste Management Division. The trees are ground down into mulch and the mulch is offered next spring in the Treecycle Mulch Giveaway and Leafdrop Compost Sale.
