In accordance with The League of American Bicyclists- June is Bike to Work Month in Denver and the fourth Wednesday of June is Bike to Work Day.
Denver is a town that is serious about ecological standards and biking! Many residents bike to work on a regular basis in Denver, especially throughout the summer months. Denver is a super bike friendly town, as you well know. What you may not know is that all of the public transportation actively encourages bike riders to take part, with racks on the front of RTD Buses and large doors on the Light Rail to accommodate bike riders of all kinds when the ride is just a little too long.
