Not Exactly A One Horse Open Sleigh….

Want a unique tour of Lower Downtown, or LODO- as it is referred to by the natives?
Feeling romantic right smack dab in the middle of downtown?
Do you want to see the splendid lights of the city but your car windows aren’t big enough?
Well then it is time for a carriage ride!
The Colorado Carriage Company offers carriage rides to fit your needs and interests of the moment. On chilly nights they even supply the blanket to keep you warm. Their rates are per carriage not person- so load up your friends and family to see the delights of Denver in style. You can make a reservation over the phone (303.670.3134.) or walk right up to ask for a ride at Writer’s Square- that’s between 15th and 16th off of Market and Larimer. Custom rides are also available, with the carriage arriving where ever you are to take you to your destination!
Right now they are taking reservations for their Holiday Light Tour Rides. See the beautiful holiday lights of Denver from a horse drawn carriage. Perfect for any couple, or a family looking to make a special memory.
A hint for the thrifty from the Denver Traveler… the price for a carriage ride is a bit less if you walk up, rather than make a reservation.

I remember going around central park with some hot chocolate and a very handsome young man by my side, who asked me to marry him. Twas very romantic.
