Hot Springs for a Cold Day!

by Shawn Marie on December 7th, 2007

Springs

If the gloomy weather makes you want to head for the hills… Go ahead!

Take Interstate 25 to Interstate 70 and park your car in Glenwood Springs. All you have to do is keep yourself warm during the drive and in less than three hours you can jump into the World’s Largest Hot Springs Pool. Once immersed in this Colorado Landmark and Natural Wonder you will forget that we have several months of winter ahead of us. You may not even mind looking at the snow covered mountain peaks- as long as you can view them from a hot bubbling spring. Escape the city and the hum drum winter as we know it – if only for a few hours or a few days. I am sure the town of Glenwood Springs has some other attractions to lure and/or keep you occupied, but with the view and the Hot Springs, I doubt you’ll need them.

The Hot Springs Pool is open year round with varying rates from $7.75-$13.00. Groups of 20 or more can earn more savings by making a reservation.
