Got Library?
April 13th through April 20th is National Library Week (founded in 1958 and sponsored by the American Association of Libraries) and Denver Public Library is celebrating the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers! Denver’s communities are enriched everyday to have the Denver Public Library and all of its 23 branches plus a Book Mobile. Denver Public Library is rated third in the nation, yet it feels like number one when you step in and find exactly what you need.
This week, bring your kids and enter into a raffle to win a book bag full of a plethora of treasures untold! There are Story Times, After School is Cool, and Super Saturdays for children of all ages to enjoy, not just this week, but year round.
Stop in to research a favorite topic, check out the latest best sellers- for FREE!, or log on to a public p.c. and read your e-mail. The public library is a cornerstone of society brought to us by our founding father, Benjamin Franklin, in 1731 and is still alive and thriving today.
Join the circle of knowledge- go and get/or use your library card today.
