The National Performing Arts Convention

Denver has the honor of hosting the National Performing Arts Convention (NPAC)- taking place this June 11th through the 14th. More than 3,000 members of the performing arts community will convene to explore and discuss the state of performing arts in our nation. NPAC is based at The Colorado Convention Center and will host many lectures, speeches, discussions and symposiums encompassing all the art forms: Dance, Music, Opera, Theatre and Choral Music.

Lakeside Amusement Park has been a Denver Landmark and Destination since 1908!
It is an amusement park that has become its own city- complete with government, mailing address and law enforcement! Every third Thursday- The Bug Theatre offers a glimpse into Emerging Filmmakers. This series was founded in May of 2002 and since then has expanded to offer workshops in addition to the monthly Screenings and Talk back events.
Participation is open to all Colorado filmmakers. The length of your entry must not exceed 60 minutes- though they will consider an excerpt of a feature production. Formats may be submitted in either DVD or VHS NTSC. Guidelines and Entry forms here.
