The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has a glittering new exhibit! Gold: Wealth, Power, Beauty opened on February 15th and runs until June 8th. It is the largest collection of gold ever to be exhibited, it includes the second largest nugget ever found, various jewelery and coins from around the world, and interactive areas where kids and adults alike can learn more about this precious metal.

Today marks the 162nd birthday of none other than William “Buffalo Bill” Cody. Creator of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show and a wild west legend, Buffalo Bill lived a life of danger and excitement. PBS recently featured him on their American Experience series, airing Monday nights.
