A location in trendy Uptown that marks, depending upon which direction you are headed, the start or the end of Downtown Denver; either way you go it’s a great place to start. Also, not so coincidentally, a tad more convenient to get to from DIA as one doesn’t need to go through downtown traffic. They claim the time to travel to the airport is only 25 minutes and this could be true if no traffic gets in the way.

The Brown Palace!
Henry Cordes Brown, who was originally from Ohio, brought his family to Denver and homesteaded on the 160 acres that is now known as Capitol Hill. Over the years he built up the neighborhood into one of the most swank in Denver at the time.
