Think you don’t have time for a little, or rather a short, Opera? Think again!
Tonight at Alto Restaurant in downtown Denver, Central City Opera and Opera Colorado bring you the second in their series of Opera Shorts! This revealing new program offers diners a sort of Cliff’s Notes version of the full length Operas in their season. The Short in the series title is no lie- the evening is full of short songs, short talks, short clips, and short skits.
Tonight’s Opera Short is West Side Story- Leonard Bernstein’s musical drama based upon Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. West Side Story, in its full version, will run from June 28th through August 9th at the Central City Opera House.
Tickets are $20 per person which includes program, 1 glass of wine and appetizers.
