A Tasty Way to Help the Library!
The Friends of the Denver Public Library want you to come out and enjoy a night of delicious food and fabulous atmosphere at Baur’s Ristorante’s grand opening in the Theater District. Baur’s is an old name in Denver, remembered fondly by many Colorado natives, and it promises to be just as grand in their new location.
Tickets to the event are $50 each, and all proceeds benefit the Friends of Denver Public Library Foundation. What does this mean? Well, the Friends Foundation is an organization which strives to assist the library in whatever it may need. This includes advocacy, fund raising, and helping out with events.

The mission of the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation is to assist and support the Denver Public Library in the accomplishment of its goals and objectives, and to enhance the services of the Library that are funded by the City’s budget through advocacy, activities and programs, fund raising, and the management of private monies raised by or donated to the Library or to the Friends Foundation.
Some other ways to help out the library is through donations (time, books, money), volunteering, or you can become a member of the Friends Foundation!

It is wonderful to see this type of support for libraries in the Denver Community! Visitors to Denver should check out both Bauer’s Restaurant and the Denver Public Library!
