Under The Hood at Lions Lair
Under the Hood is a premiere monthly Music & Community event that takes place in Denver at various hot spots. Each month features fantastic indie music and multi media attractions.
This Friday, February 22nd, Under The Hood presents Whitney Rehr from Gata Negra playing a solo set! If this rare performance isn’t enough Lynx will be playing also! Haven’t heard of Lynx? Think of Ani DiFranco and Micheal Franti’s love child.
Also, all the way from San Diego, an Under The Hood fave- Veronica May will be play’n with a full band!
Beyond the live musical performance the evening also entails DJ Kristin & The Echts spinning the ones and two and threes and fours. This Under the Hood will be hosted by Alexis Long and Ms. Jen Korte. Still need incentive? There will also be a Drag King Show- featuring the debut of the troupe, The Rocky Mountain Oysters.
