Frock Out Follow Up
And the winner is…
It was a clean sweep of the People’s Choice and the Judges Grand Prize when both awards went to Stephanie Ohnmacht at the first annual Frock Out Denver!
A Fashion Show in a Library may sound wacky- but it was a night to go down in history and hopefully an event to thrive in the future. The Gala was sold out- even turning some away at the door. The lucky ones who made it in had their senses delighted by all twelve designers throughout a ‘gown for all seasons’ show. Each designer showcased a dress for every season and then capped off their line with an added category of Designers Vision. All of the designs were unique, innovative and cohesive.
Some fashion standouts for us included a utilitarian look from Tricia Hoke which consisted of a hood that turned into a messenger bag and a jacket that twisted into a skirt. James Silvrants dazzled us with a stunning wedding dress and the kicky teal number pictured above.
Hats off to everyone who worked so very hard to pull off such a smashing event. Especially Fresh City Life king Chris Loffelmacher and the Fabulous Trish Christiansen!
